TIM ROHR'S LETTER TO THE EDITOR, PACIFIC DAILY NEWS, APRIL 6, 2021
PAUL ZERZAN'S LETTER TO THE EDITOR ON APR. 5, 2021
Abortion debate is whether unborn baby has right to life
I did not like the April 4 news article, “Governor supports women’s reproductive rights.” I think the language used was misleading to the point of deceit.
The abortion debate is not about reproductive health care or even reproduction. The abortion debate revolves around one question: “Does an unborn baby have a right to life?”
Since abortion involves killing the unborn baby to deny reproduction, the words used should be “women’s non-reproductive rights” and “non-reproductive health care.”
The abortion debate is not going to be resolved by linguistic trickery designed to evade the central moral issue: “Does an unborn baby have a right to life?” Please avoid misleading euphemisms when reporting on this topic. Thank you.
Paul Zerzan is a resident of Barrigada.

TIM ROHR LETTER TO THE EDITOR OF THE GUAM DAILY POST, FEB. 27, 2021
Neither law nor church preventing abortions on Guam
In a lengthy letter to the Daily Post on Feb. 18, Dr. Ellen Bez attacked Guam’s abortion laws for forcing women to seek off-island abortion providers.
None of Guam’s abortion laws force women to seek off-island abortion providers. What forces women to seek off-island abortion providers are doctors like Bez who refuse to provide abortions right here at home despite publicly advocating for abortion services, well, “right here at home.”
Bez tries to get around this contradiction by blaming the Catholic Church, the usual straw man. But unless you want to count the four or five people who stand out in front of a particular clinic in Tamuning once a week with signs and rosaries, the Catholic Church is wholly absent from this matter.

TIM ROHR: LETTER TO THE EDITOR. PDN. FEB. 19, 2021
Letter: Maybe Guam doctors want to save lives, not destroy them
In a recent letter to the editor, Miah Jesus remarked that two doctors from Hawaii “have provided abortion care to some women from Guam since we have not had a doctor willing to provide safe abortion care since 2018.”
Despite Ms. Jesus inadvertently suggesting that there may be doctors on Guam willing to provide “unsafe” abortions, the point is that no doctors on Guam are willing to provide abortions.
Why is that? CONTINUED

LETTER TO THE EDITOR FROM SHARON O'MALLAN
Letter: Killing innocent babies is OK, but killing roosters isn't?
Miah Jesus:
On Feb. 2, you wrote a letter addressed to the women of Guam stating your reasons why telemedicine abortion, (the killing of an innocent defenseless human being), needs to come to Guam.
On Feb. 12, you wrote a letter scolding Sen. Jose Terlaje for the senseless blood sport of killing roosters. (CONTINUED)
